Public Places now demand vaccination certificates in Surat. From Wednesday, if you want to visit malls, multiplexes and gymnasiums make sure you carry your vaccine certificate. SMC officials said that those who are due for the second dose will be questioned and their entries will be barred if they are unable to provide valid reasons. Health officials also stated that those who have taken the first dose and their time limit for the second dose is yet to be completed will be allowed. After this news, over 7000 people took their first dose on Tuesday. Health officials quoted, " We are hopeful that the number of people coming for the second dose will also rise." Health Department is holding meetings with the owners of gyms, multiplexes, and malls and mentoring them on how to check the vaccine certificate.
