Fair price shop owners’ strikes make headlines, meeting held regarding the matter:
A meeting was held between fair price shop owners association and the government representatives, where Prahlad Modi, the Head of the association mentioned that the government has guaranteed resolving the issues within 15 days after Diwali. It was also decided that the strikes would stop, following the meeting with the government representatives. The government will arrive at a decision, keeping in mind the demands of the association so that a middle ground is set.
