A disturbing incident unfolded in the Chowkbazar area of Surat as a miscreant abducted and sexually assaulted a 4-and-a-half-year-old girl. Promptly responding, the police apprehended Ankit Omprakash Gautam, placing him behind bars within hours. To investigate the matter thoroughly, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed, comprising the Police Zone 3 Deputy Commissioner, ACP PI of the Crime Branch, and PI of Chowkbazar.
